Integration: Circle (Suggested Improvements)

1) Current problems:
- My members have to login twice when accessing Circle.
- Circle's SSO modal doesn't have the option to "sign up here" like in the Login Modals
- When users try and login to Circle using the Memberstack SSO page there's no "forgot password" button. This is particularly bad for our sign up flow, where they create an account on our domain and then have to login on a different domain and so password managers won't share the password across.
2) I want my UX to be as seamless as possible. Every additional step is another source of confusion, drop off, and support.
3) What's plan B? Wait for this to be fixed, and explain how it works to my members so they aren't super confused.
4) Possible solutions:
- Don't require members to login twice.
- To be able to create an account from Circle's SSO modal

Update - This is planned for Q3 of 2022.
We're nearly done with all of the required backend/authentication changes required to get this integration working properly.

Duncan Hamra: Cool. Can you give us a few insider preview tips on what this might look like? I literally haven't pursued memberstack because of this, but I'm held up by Circle as I need the indirection and control from memberstack!

Logging in via Memberstack via SSO is case sensitive

When using Memberstack as SSO for Circle, the email address field is case sensitive, e.g.
EMAIL@GMAIL.COM throws an authentication error but email@gmail.com can log in.
Just tested with my own accounts after receiving feedback from a member that they couldn't log in.

Hi all, I apologize for the silence. We were making progress on a solution when we decided to "momentarily" pause to focus on 2.0. At the time, we planned to launch in 3-months... well, 1-year and 3-months later here we are 😞. I should have offered an update sooner.
I don't have a fix for you, but we will be waiving your monthly Memberstack subscription until this is fixed. Please message support@memberstack.com with a link to this page for your free account.
I can also confirm that this issue will be fixed with Memberstack 2.0
Please upvote the other roadmap item to receive updates.
More good news - 2.0 is in beta and this fix is queued for developement.

Is there any update on this? For clarity, the pain of the current UX (forcing a user to login multiple times) is enough for us to move away from Memberstack, so really hoping there is a fix!
