Modify a member's free memberships/plans via API, Make.com, or Zapier

1) The problem → Need the ability to change which plan a member is assigned to via the API.
2) Why is this important → Our application relies on this ability, we have too many members and memberships to have to manually do this from the dashboard every day.
3) What's your plan B → We don't have one right now.
4) Possible solutions we could build for you → Having the API call in test/beta form would be huge.

Update member plans trough Zapier Integration
L
Lucas Suárez
1) Be able to update member plans trough "Update Member" action in Zapier Integration in the same way we can add plans when we use "Create Member".
2) This will allow us to update automatically users plans, especially when we use external payment methods and we have different gated content in different plans.
3) In much cases, the pricing model requieres selling outside Memberstack so the users has to be created with an automation. In those cases, I think it is important to be able to use the product without limitations. From the Memberstack dashboard you can add and modify a user's plans, it should be possible to do it through the integrations as well.
4) I'm not sure about my plan B. I'll look into updating plans via the API when a new order comes in Webflow, or try to do the trick with the member metadata. If anyone knows how I could solve it... I'll be happy to hear ideas!

This is currently possible using the =Memberstack_UpdateMembership formula from Google Sheets! (https://docs.sheet.link/formulas/apps/memberstack)

Changing Membership via API
JS
1) The problem → Unable to change Membership via API
2) Why is this important → I currently have to change a member's membership via the dashboard (only works for free members). This is time-consuming and leads to a bad user experience since they have to wait for me to make the update.
3) What's your plan B → Manually update, or make the user click on an upgrade button to confirm the upgrade.
4) Possible solutions we could build for you → Add an API call to change a membership
