The Circle Integration currently requires users to login twice

1) My members have to login twice when accessing Circle.
2) I want my UX to be as seamless as possible. Every additional step is another source of confusion, drop off, and support.
3) What's plan B? Wait for this to be fixed, and explain how it works to my members so they aren't super confused.
4) A better integration that doesn't require members to login twice.

Hello, can someone explain how/why users would need to sign in twice? I don't know that I necessarily understand this; however, we're new to Memberstack and look forward to using it to connect to Circle very soon.
Also, is there an update on a fix for this issue? Thanks in advance!

@Navid Sadikali: it’s pretty janky. Super stressful. That being said, it’s more than likely a fault of Circle being super new and still working through the third party kinks. You’ll likely have more problems with the other member platforms - some things are way easier with memberstack, you’ll have to do some duct taping regardless.

Hi @Duncan Hamra! I know you guys are working hard to make updates as soon as you can. I have a quick question. I am currently working on a new platform that will have a community space and it will be the heart of the platform. As now I am using Memberstack+Circle SSO for one of my client and so far they are happy but don't like the process of signing up twice. Some of the members get confused and don't signup on circle. All of that to say that if the issue could be fixed that would be a GREAT thing for this new platform. Thank you for your hard work. Sending all the good energy to you and your team!

Hey everyone! I'm happy to announce we are dedicating a day to fix this issue in the coming weeks. I wish I could say more on a timeline, but Tyler is going to need to work on this between new hires. Speaking of new hires, these sorts of issues will be fixed MUCH more quickly after we've migrated to Memberstack 2.0. Thank you for your patience!

@Logan White: We can't give a hard deadline (we'd like to, but we've learned better). We're going to do our very best! Feel free to chime in here for updates anytime. We'll make sure we have 1-2 days fo scheduled dev time on this in the next few weeks. That should be enough 🤞

Yes, I have noticed this as well. I watched someone sign up, and after creating their account, had to login TWICE. For a total of 3 times. Is this a known issue, or something I've done incorrectly? Super painful process right now.

@Leif Johansen: This is an incredibly pressing issue. I'm just realizing this is a consistent problem... and is likely the key reason I have low engagement on the platform. I'm seeing a huge drop off from sign up to log in process.
